We’ve just posted the photos from last June’s Merritt Fund 40th Anniversary Gala, which raised thousands of dollars for the LeRoy C. Merritt Humanitarian Fund. The Fund, which is administered through the Office for Intellectual Freedom, gives grants to librarians who have lost their jobs, or otherwise been harmed in the workplace, due to their defense of intellectual freedom or because of discrimination.

It was a fabulous event at the beautiful and historic Folger Shakespeare Library. Many thanks to all who helped put together the first-ever such gala for the Merritt Fund!
