I live in Lafayette, LA and we are going through turmoil over Drag Queen Story Time. I just listened to a video of last night’s city council meeting where a council member asked that the library director get approval from the City Council Appointed Library Board of Control before planning children’s programs. I fear this will turn into a free speech infringement. Any ideas to help me see how other library boards of control operate?
