The Freedom to Read Foundation (FTRF) has announced the nominating committee for its April 2010 election.  Members are: Candace Morgan, Portland, Ore. Update: Senate Judiciary Committee Sends PATRIOT Act Renewal To Full Senate

Today the Senate Judiciary Committee voted 11-8 to send the PATRIOT Act reauthorization bill to the full Senate. The New York Times and the Associated Press provide an overview of the hearing.
